COVID-19 Staying Home and Loosing Track of Time

As we shelter in place at home as a family from the threat of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic during this unprecedented time in human history I have observed time fly and crawl at the same time. If you have read the previous posts on this blog you will understand when I call this an awesome display of God’s Will. In this time of great fear and uncertainty it is more important than ever to have a clear and firm grasp on reality. I have said and written previously that God’s Will is all about what is. It is not about how we want or hope or wish things to be. Reality is God’s Will. Our ability to change our own world by our own thoughts, decisions and actions is a Devine gift. We can use our own God given Divine Spirit to create our own world or our own Universe as long as what we create is in alignment with reality. Pray not for what you want, but pray for the ability to abide by God’s Will. Praying for Spiritual abilities like the ability to Love or Reason or for Wisdom is the path to creating miracles. Dear God please grant me the clear thinking to articulate this idea so that I may abide by Thy Will and create a better world for me and my family. Please grant me the Wisdom to know Thy Will and the Strength to do what is right.
I think I just made right now big enough to understand God’s Will. This moment has been timeless. Me being able to articulate this thought is truly a miracle. Grateful for this time and space to write it down. Tomorrow is uncertain, but right now is clear. I will pray myself to sleep and in the morning be ready and able to abide in the reality of the next right now. See you then. Good night.

God’s Will

I’ve been praying and thinking a lot about this recently so sharing to help solidify my thoughts. God’s Will is all about what is. If you want to know God’s Will observe what is actually happening now and have a clear grasp of reality. Our desires and our hopes for what we want to happen in the future or what we wish for is pure human folly. By aligning ourselves with reality we become more in tune with God’s Will. Our ability to dream and hope and act to create a new reality is a Devine gift. The universe we create for ourselves manifests itself when we can align ourselves with God’s Will and then use the powers our Devine Spirit to create an harmonious alternative universe of our own. The struggle to do so is called life. How we use our time in the here and now has direct correlation to our perception of time. When we are in alignment with God’s Will for us time looses its mighty grasp on us. Time expands to allow us what we need to fulfill our hopes and dreams. This is how we make right now big enough.

We ride like we are brave
Ours not to make reply,
Ours not to reason why,
Ours but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
We ride through time
It need not come to us. 

Planning

Planning for the future is something we do in the present. Organizing things right now so that when we move into the next moment we are prepared to be present. Is this the essence of prescience? Planning is future telling. Is this a fool’s errand? No. Planning is the ultimate example of being in the present while attempting to foresee the future. The key to effective planning is the accurate and astute interpretation of the lessons of our past. Planning in the moment gives perspective, but also has the weakness of providing a false sense of security or a false sense of dread because of our belief in our ability to control the future. I realize now that the future never comes. It is always fiction. Facts lie in our history. Planning is most effective when preparing for our nearest next actionable present. There is no doubt that what we do now will have consequences in the next present we move into so when planning for the distant future do it with a series of possible reactionary alternatives to multiple possible alternate presents. Otherwise you are not planning you are dreaming. Dreaming is wonderful. Creating a positive vision of the future to aim your present toward is infinitely valuable as it allows the powers of our subconscious mind and spirit to work on our behalf while our conscience mind and attention is focused on living the present. I look forward to examining those powers in upcoming posts and am glad I did not over plan this edition so enabling an unexpected development that I present moved into from my completely unknown future.
